In 2022, Royal Caribbean International welcomed more than 4.5 million guests on board its ships. The company successfully closed out the year with this achievement.

At the end of 2022, Royal Caribbean International had visited 230 ports and welcomed 4,636,746 passengers on board. In a social media post, the company celebrated its achievements and shared some interesting statistics. With 26 ships in operation around the world, the company's fleet made a total of 530 stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay, its private island in the Bahamas. In addition, 23,980 guests visited Royal Caribbean's private destination in Haiti, Labadee, and experienced the Dragon's Breath Zipline, which is one of the longest over-water ziplines in the world.

Following the launch of the Wonder of the Seas in March, the company also had a total of 18 bionic bartenders across its fleet. First introduced in 2014, these robots are part of the company's Bionic Bar and mix cocktails on demand. According to the post, the most popular bar on board was The Lime & Coconut, located on the pool deck of several ships. Designed to offer "island vibes" all day and night, it features a multi-story Caribbean-themed venue.

In October, the new Icon of the Seas was named the "Most Dreamt About Ship" by the company. Scheduled to debut in 2024, the 250,000-ton vessel will introduce a new class to the fleet and include several new features such as new neighborhoods, the world's largest water park at sea, a revamped Royal Promenade and the all-new AquaDome. Situated at the top of the ship, the AquaDome will feature a huge waterfall and offer unique experiences throughout the day.
