Princess Cruises has made changes to its 15-day ocean-to-ocean Panama Canal cruise aboard the Emerald Princess to accommodate the solar eclipse event. The ship will sail from Los Angeles on April 5, 2024, and visit destinations such as Ft. Lauderdale, the Mexican Riviera, the Panama Canal, San Juan del Sur Costa Rica, Cartagena, and Grand Cayman. During the voyage, guests will catch the total solar eclipse on April 8 between Cabo San Lucas and Huatulco, Mexico. Starting rates for this itinerary are $1,699 per person, and guests will be provided with special glasses to safely view the eclipse. The renowned astronomy and space exploration enthusiast, Fred Cink, will be present to guide guests' viewing experience.
