Best Instagrammable Photo Ops on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady
Virgin Voyages cruise ship the Scarlet Lady is the Instagrammer’s DREAM for amazing photos! There are so many unique spots around the ship to guarantee the perfect photo. I’ve included a few spots on their private beach club in Bimini as well, as I couldn’t resist!
The list below is in no particular order, but these are some of my favorite photos we took onboard!
The Dock
Not only is this a great place to relax, hang out with some friends, and eat some DELICIOUS snacks (I’m looking at you, goat cheese polenta….), but it’s also a great spot for an “I’m on a boat” photo. The day beds and foliage really make the spot feel luxurious!
2. Pink Agave
ALL OF THE LIGHTS, ALL OF THE LIGHTS! This spot was so cool, we took photos here twice!
3. Training Camp (outside)
If you don’t already know, we love to work out. However, I know ZERO THINGS about boxing. I couldn’t let that stop me though! These photos are BA. BA.
4. Cabanas
There are a couple cabana areas on board, some you have to pay for and some you don’t. Although these had numbers on the back, I’m fairly certain they were free range for sitting….. at least no one kicked us out! The color contrast makes the photo pop and reminds me of a vintage beach vibe.
5. The NET (Athletic Club)
This is a really cool photo op! But I am here to warn you… It’s mainly for looking … and a quick photo. The net is not near as comfortable as it looks, but it’s worth it for the ‘gram. You can see the sea below, so if you angle it right, it will look like you are laying right above the water. We chose to take photos during the pajama party, so it was a bit dark, but we do NOT regret it!
6. The Manor
SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND! The ICONIC Scarlet Lady photo. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is gonna want this photo. ESPECIALLY on Scarlet Night. We waited about 30 min to get the perfect photo with no one in the background, and we had to work REALLY fast. My plan was to go early, but they had the doors of the manor closed when the venue isn’t actually open, so we had to work with the time we had. Suggestion: get photos any other night LOL
7. Hammock on your Sea Terrace
I LOVE this touch Virgin put on the stateroom balconies. It was the perfect place to chill when you need some quiet time, or just want to watch the sunrise in the morning.
8. Pool by Gym & Tonic
Right outside of the Gym & Tonic Bar is a circular pool (spa maybe?) with whirlpools on the side and additional workout rig equipped with a pull up, punching bag, bar monkey bars and places to add TRX bands. On our sailing it was less crowded than the main pool and made for a great photo!
9. ‘Swings’ at the Beach Club
Now I put swings in quotations because we had bad weather on our sailing and they took the swings down… That was one photo I was really looking forward to getting. But, I think these came out pretty great without them. I guess we will just have to book another cruise on the Scarlet Lady to get the photo I want!
10. Basket Chair at the Swim Up Bar (Beach Club)
There are about 5 hanging baskets at the swim-up bar at the pool at the Beach Club. I’m going to assume it was the bad weather that left a few of these babies available because I wanted to sit and drink in them all day.
